About me

Always uncomfortable talking about myself, but here goes nothing...

“Be so good they can’t ignore you” — Steve Martin

I’m a father and husband living in Norway, working as a consultant and now focusing on AI-driven projects and AI adoption. I love making things, which got me into programming, but also into woodworking, electronics, 3D printing, photography, and probably 10 other different hobbies that I do not have time for.

I’m hooked on lifelong learning, and learning is my entire purpose of doing anything. I’m always improving something - whether it’s code, mindset, or the systems around me. This drive to learn and build is behind everything I do, in and out of work. Thus quote by Steve Martin fits my call good "Be so good they can’t ignore you".

Teaching courses and tutorials gives me a combination of both making, and learning
(to teach it you need to learn it well first)

From Serbia to Silicon Beach

Self-taught developer working professionally since 2004. Over the years, I’ve shipped more than 200 projects - many for companies and clients in Los Angeles, including Jukin Media, HP, Pepsi, Intel, and Swarovski, as well as political organizations, nonprofits, and public figures.

I’ve worked directly with clients in early-stage startups, and also in larger company teams. I've built web applications from custom CMSs and full social networking platforms to video platforms, mobile apps, AI solutions, and coded various electronic projects around smart-home in my free time.

But I’ve always focused on writing clean, scalable code.

Developer Meets Leadership

I’ve always been drawn to communication and leadership - not just managing people, but understanding how teams actually deliver well, how trust is built, and how good decisions are made under pressure. So I've worked as a tech lead for the majority of my career, leading cross-functional teams.

At age of 16, I worked weekends in a local café to pay for high school, and serving people (usually tired, drunk, difficult) taught me how to read the room, stay calm, and communicate clearly. Since I could communicate decently on different levels, I’ve often been chosen by my peers to take on leadership responsibilities.

I've also studied leadership through Harvard Business school, University in Tromsø (UiT), and Dale Carnegie programs.

I get excited when I see someone grow - when I can help a developer improve how they work, how they think, or how they lead, and they start enjoying their role more because of it.

That’s the kind of impact that keeps me doing this.

Making, Sharing, Learning

I am a maker at heart. Code, photos, videos,  storytelling, electronics, hardware. I guess life is easy when you do not any have friends.

My YouTube channel was a natural extension of that - a place where I combine videography, tech, creativity, and reflection. I used to write a blog about life in Norway (in Serbian, but you can use google translate here).

And yes, even at age over 40, I do not take myself seriously.

Reach out, maybe I can help you somehow!

And by the way - it is a blessing being able to talk to you guys!
